Scans your local subnet for the Energy Bridge's MQTT broker (port 2883), then probes each candidate (trying anonymous and the known admin/trinity login and both topic variants) to confirm a real hub.

Required when this container is behind a NAT hop (Docker bridge, or Coolify/OrbStack on a Mac): auto-detect sees the container's network, not your home LAN. Enter your home subnet — find it from your router or ifconfig on the host.

"Discover topics" connects and listens to everything the hub publishes for ~25s — use it when diagnostics say "connected but no demand message". It reveals the real topic name so you can pick the right one.
