Each dashed line marks a detected appliance turning on, labelled with its best guess. Green ▶ marks an appliance that was already running when the range began. Click a label to rename it — every start with the same power signature is renamed too, building your appliance list below.

Tip: an appliance whose power varies (like an electric stove) shows up as a few separate entries. Give them all the same name — or use "assign to an existing appliance" in the rename box — and they merge into one, with nearby power steps folded in automatically.
